Uses- Herbal tea   Internally used to treat migraines, sore throats, indigestion, depression, anxiety, exhaustion,
irritability, tension headaches, exhaustion, and bronchial complaints    
(including tuberculosis) and nervous disorders of the heart (as an infusion or bath).
Externally Oil to treat insect and snakebites, cold sores, muscular pain, skin complaints, head lice, halitosis, vaginal
discharge and anal fissure, sunburn, burns added
to baths for patients suffering from debility, nervous tension, and insomnia.
Oil used in perfume industry (best oil from English  lavender).  
Flowers to   flavor preserve, sweets and stews; dried in potpourri.  
Lavender water as skin tonic and antiseptic.
Home use tips---To treat exhaustion, especially after infection. Add 1 teaspoonful to 250 ml cold water; slowly
bring to the boil and simmer.
